It takes about 80 minutes from the New Chitose branch of Tabisuru Kuruma to Yoichi by expressway, and about 30 minutes from Otaru. The town was the setting for the NHK drama "Massan". There are many fruit orchards and you can enjoy many nature experiences!

Nikka Whiskey Yoichi Distillery

The setting for the NHK drama "Massan". Based on the belief that whiskey is nurtured in the northern climate, Masataka Taketsuru, the founder of Nikka Whiskey, searched for the ideal location for whiskey production and built a distillery in Yoichi in 1934.

3. Shakotan

From the New Chitose branch of Tabisuru Kuruma, take the expressway to Yoichi, then the national highway - about 100 minutes. It is one of the famous sightseeing spots in summer. You can enjoy "Shaotan blue" seawater and "Shakotan sea urchin" as a delicacy.
